Connecting Through Ocean|Science × Culture × Community
Join us for a two-day, one-night immersive experience exploring the connections between the ocean and human society from multiple perspectives! Centered on discovering our oceans, this program combines hands-on scientific activities, cultural experiences, and cross-cultural exchange, guiding students to understand Taiwan’s rich marine resources and culture while reflecting on global issues such as climate change, pollution, and sustainable resource use.
Program Highlights
- Immersive Exploration:
Visit the National Museum of Marine Science & Technology
in Keelung and the North Coast fishing villages to learn about marine industries, cultural heritage, and local ecosystems. - Hands-on Science:
Participate in seaweed
and Coral Watch
workshops, experiencing citizen science and actively contributing to ocean conservation. - Cultural Experiences:
Explore Keelung’s night market cuisine and fishing village culture, expanding cross-cultural perspectives. - Researcher Story Sharing:
Listen to experts share their oceanic adventures and scientific stories, sparking curiosity and critical thinking. - Exchange & Reflection:
Engage with international and Taiwanese students in collaborative learning and discussions, turning knowledge into action.
Through this program, you will gain ocean literacy, environmental responsibility, and cross-cultural collaboration skills, becoming a new generation of citizens driving sustainable ocean development.

海洋連結你我:科學 × 文化 × 社群
加入我們的兩天一夜沉浸式體驗,從多元視角探索海洋與人類社會的連結!本活動以認識我們的海洋為核心,結合科學實作、文化體驗與跨文化交流,帶領學生理解臺灣海洋的豐富資源與文化,同時思考氣候變遷、污染與資源永續利用等全球議題。
活動亮點
- 沉浸式探索:走訪基隆國立海洋科技博物館與北海岸漁村,了解海洋產業、文化傳承與在地生態。
- 科學動手做:參與石花菜與 Coral Watch 工作坊,體驗公民科學,親手守護海洋。
- 文化體驗:深度感受基隆廟口美食與漁村文化,拓展跨文化視野。
- 研究員故事分享:聆聽專家分享海洋探險與科學故事,激發思考與好奇心。
- 交流與分享:與國際學生和臺灣青年共同學習、對話,將所學轉化為行動力。
透過這次活動,你將收穫 海洋素養、環境責任感與跨文化協作能力,成為推動海洋永續的新世代公民。
