🌍What happens when psychology meets biodiversity? We found out this week at NTU!
On April 29, 2025, we were delighted to welcome Professor Marino Bonaiuto from Sapienza University of Rome to our Master’s Program in Biodiversity for a truly eye-opening guest lecture.
Thanks to an invitation from MPB Program Director Professor Chia-Ying Ko and the coordination of Assistant Professor Shih-Han Hung’s class, Human Perception, Behavior, and Biodiversity, students got the chance to dive into the fascinating world of Environmental Psychology.
Prof. Marino Bonaiuto, who’s currently serving as President-Elect of the Environmental Psychology Division at the International Association of Applied Psychology (2022–2026), gave an inspiring talk titled “Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and Well-being: A Threefold Pathway.” The session brought together students and faculty, sparking lively discussions about how psychology and biodiversity can work hand in hand.
A huge thank-you to Prof. Bonaiuto for sharing his knowledge, and to everyone who made this event possible. We’re already looking forward to more opportunities like this that blend science, people, and the planet!
