Faculty Recruitment | Position in "Smart Agriculture Integrated System"

1. The Master Program in Global Agriculture Technology and Genomic Science at National Taiwan University invites application for one full-time faculty position (Assistant Professor or above) specialized in “Smart Agriculture Integrated System”, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2024. Applicants with research experiences in precision agriculture and applied technology are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. degree and capability of teaching in English are required. Applicants who can teach courses in the areas of Digital Agriculture, Precision Agriculture or Agricultural Data Science are preferred.
2. Documents required for application include:
(1) Curriculum Vitae including nationality, date of birth, education background, summary of research field (within 250 words), current position, working experience, the publication list within past seven years (please provide corresponding full-text papers in PDF files, published after August 1, 2017).
(2) A cover letter indicating an expected position rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) to apply and one designated representative research paper. The representative paper should be published in international peer reviewed journals within the past five years (after August 1, 2019). For applicants who apply “Assistant Professor” position and received doctoral degree within the past three years (after August 1, 2021), the Ph.D. dissertation can be considered as the representative paper.

(6) Transcripts from graduate courses (for those applying to the Assistant Professor position only)

一、國立臺灣大學「全球農業科技與基因體科學碩士學位學程」誠徵「智慧農業整合系統」領域專任教師 (助理教授(含)以上) 乙名，預定起聘日期為2024年08月01日。申請人以從事精準農業應用科技研究者為佳。申請人須具博士學位與英語授課能力，並能開授以下領域課程者為優先考量：1.智慧農業（Digital Agriculture）, 2.精準農業（Precision Agriculture）, 3.農業數據科學（Agricultural Data Science）
