Project Faculty Position on
Global Undergraduate Program in Semiconductors

1. The Global Undergraduate Program in Semiconductors (GUPS) at National Taiwan University calls for applications for one Project Faculty Position (Assistant Professor or above) in “Semiconductor Device and Process, Semiconductor Materials, Semiconductor Physics, Electronic Circuits or Digital Circuits” starting from February 1, 2025.
A doctoral degree and the capability to teach in English are required. Applicants shall also be able to teach undergraduate-level professional courses for 16 credits every academic semester, including 9-10 in General Education Common Core Courses and 6-7 in program specialized courses. They also need to assist the program with administrative and student affairs.
2. Documents required for application include:
(1) Curriculum Vitae, including nationality, date of birth, education background, summary of research field (within 250 words), current position, working experience, and publication list within the past seven years (please provide corresponding full-text papers in PDF files published after February 1, 2018).
(2) A cover letter indicating a commensurate position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) and one designated representative paper to be applied. The representative paper should be published in an international journal within the past five years (after February 1, 2020). For applicants applying as an Assistant Professor and who received their doctoral degree within the past three years (after February 1, 2022), their dissertation can be considered as the representative paper.
(3) Research plans.
(4) Teaching plans: Please provide syllabi for at least 4 professional courses. (If applicable, please attach a statement listing past teaching experiences.)
(5) Certificate of a doctoral degree.
(6) Transcripts from undergraduate and graduate courses (for those applying to the Assistant Professor position only).
(7) Contact information of three references, including name, position, affiliation, phone number, and Email address.

誠徵【教學專案教師】
一、國立臺灣大學國際學院「國際半導體學士學位學程（GUPS）」誠徵「半導體元件及製程、半導體材料、半導體物理、電子電路、數位電路」領域之助理教授（含）以上教學專案教師 乙 名，預定起聘日期為2025年02月01日。
申請人須具博士學位，且具全英語授課能力，每學期開授至少16學分課程，包含大學部專業課程6~7學分，和全校性/全院性共同修讀課程9~10學分，同時須協助學程行政及學生事務。
二、申請所需檢具資料（所有資料請以英文撰寫）：
(1) 履歷【含國籍、出生年月日、大學(含)以上畢業學校、畢業年份、專長領域（請以250字以內簡述）、現職、經歷、著作目錄及七年內（2018年2月1日後）發表之著作（請附上全文PDF檔）…等。】
(2) 自薦信【需說明擬申請職級及指定一篇代表著作之重要貢獻。代表著作須為五年內（2020年2月1日後）已發表於國際重要期刊（SCI、SSCI、SCIE）之著作；應徵助理教授者得以三年內（2022年02月01日後）之博士論文為代表著作。】
(3) 未來研究計畫。
(4) 開授課程計畫，至少提供 4 門專業課程（如有「過去教學經驗」可簡述附上）。
(5) 博士學位證書。
(6) 大學及研究所歷年成績單（應徵助理教授者需檢附）。
(7) 3 位推薦人資訊【請提供姓名、在職單位、電話、e-mail address等聯絡方式】
